I can't imagine what my landlady is talking about. I, a dog of dignity and refinement? Would a dog of my breeding put his snout in the paint bucket? Even if the paint smelled like chocolate, a fact about which I'm only guessing? And on a different and unrelated note, paint tastes bad.
