My landlady asks, “in what universe is this comfortable?” If I could speak, I’d say, “well, there are an infinite number of universes but quantum mechanics theory proposes that in at least one of them I’m the one standing here shaking my head and you’re sprawled out upside-down on the floor. But for the sake of argument, let’s just agree . . . it’s comfortable in this one.”
