I’m going to the sitter while my landlady heads to the coast and she is keeping to her rule. “Holly is a sturdy working dog. Only the basics are needed.” She’s packing nothing but my favorite bed (I have six), town leash, retractable country leash and towel if I get to swim in the creek, food in labeled zip lock bags, treats, pick-up bags, my best toy, my bowls, printed instructions, and her text number for photos of me in case she gets lonely. I mean, in case I do.
